In August 2000, R Tape acquired a producer of unique metalized special effects PVC and other plastic films and renamed that company, Custom Extrusion Technologies Inc.   Led by R Tape's marketing, engineering and technical expertise, this facility now custom extrudes and produces high quality wide width metalized special effects and deep embossed thin films for graphics applications, such as from PVC, PETG and Polycarbonate! R Tape also has a facility in Aalter, Belgium, which serves as the European Sales Office, Converting & Distribution Center.
